Keylu was a concept for an online cloud storage and life management platform conceptualised by Cornwall natives Ian Dibb and Sarah Wilkinson. The founders chose the name because it links their Cornish heritage to the Cornish word for family, teylu, and their service for storing "key" information. Although initially intended for organising and storing essential life documents for seniors before they pass away, the project later took the form of a full-fledged online cloud storage website and app with the addition of AI assistance, aimed towards university students. The project was a part of a scheme part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Cornwall Council for assisting and uplifting local Cornish entrepreneurial ventures.
