Disney+ Hotstar (now known as JioHotstar or simply Hotstar), India’s biggest video-on-demand subscription based streaming service, wanted to promote some ‘hidden-gem’ Indian films and TV Series that were available for free on their platform. They wanted to do this through posts on their Instagram profile.

Video libraries were considered to be a place for serious cinema lovers. Hence, I took imagery from these films and reimagined them as retro VHS tape covers.
